Weekly Activities

Bethany Centre
Actions taken following CQC inspection.
1. Window restrictions have been adjusted to limit it less than 10mm instead of 150mm.

2. Fire risk assessment has been carried out by external company: all recommendations following this have been implemented.
​
3. Water temperatures are now all controlled using mixer valves restricting the water outlet temperature to less than 43.
​
4. Medication administration was immediately addressed and is continued to be monitored by manager.
​
5. All risk assessments are now in place for self-administration of medication and reviewed on a regular basis.
​
6. Clients nursed in bed are checked regularly by staff this is recorded on the turn charts kept in their rooms. Buzzer system is being used to monitor attendance to rooms.
​
7. Following winter pressures of sickness, staffing levels are now at full cover. Increased staffing levels are being implemented for care staff, cleaners and admin.
​
We are currently revising audit tools and processes to evidence quality care given at Bethany House.
