Here at Bethany Care home, we have staff that want to make a difference to residents living here. Passionate about giving high quality care in a friendly and homely environment. Our staff go the extra mile to enrich the lives of our residents. Staff roles are varied and all staff undergo an induction, extensive training programme provided by Redcrier training and encouraged to widen their knowledge and experiences by accessing training of their own choice.

Nursing staff
Nursing staff are dedicated to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of our residents. Delivering care, clinical guidance and training to ensure the safe, smooth and efficient running of the care home.

Our nursing staff are high quality mentors for student nurses and we often have student nurses coming to us from Royal College of Nursing and Teesside University. This is always a great insight for student nurses where we are able to provide a platform for them to gain live experience of a successful care centre. We have received fantastic feedback from many of the students that have completed a placement with us.

House keeping – laundry assistant, housekeepers.
Admin – activity co-ordinator, administrator.

We have a very low turnover of staff due to a high level of job satisfaction within the centre.
We care for our staff and in turn they care for our residents. Ongoing training is provided to ensure staff are giving safe and high quality care.
Apprenticeships
We support staff to further their careers and be successful in their apprenticeship.
We offer an environment to promote the development of many core skills within the industry through exposure to a wide range of areas.
We are committed to fully supporting apprentices in advancing their passion and skill in the area of care. Our staff take pride in progressing those that are keen to work within the sector.
Volunteers
Our team of volunteers help us go above and beyond in the care that we give residents. We can operate to a high level at Bethany Care home with support from our generous volunteers.
